A 1979 Porsche 928 I purchased to restore. The car was living in a field in Holden, LA for about a year, possibly longer. It was originally green. The interior is really in good shape for a Porsche this old and the quality of materials they used (the vinyl was never suited for our climate). I am sorting through the car to get it mechanically sound before having it painted and some of the interior reupholstered. A fun project and a really fast car. Click on the page links in the menu under “Porsche” to get the play-by-play…
- The car within the first hour of being home.
- Someone misbehaved and a lady friend keyed the car badly.
- The car in early december. Not running. All scratched to heck.
- Porsche emblem restored to glorious
- Dashboard cracks, pod cracks, weird yellow fading in carpet.
- Seats are OK but need the centers recovered
- Dashboard needs work; carpet is being stained back to “cork”
- Substantial cleaning to the leather
- Taken at the end of January
